This is really interesting. At last something positive from DCAL. I think proper baliffs and management would be better, but all power to this guy for having a go. I have not fished the Carrick dams much this year but I will have to give them more of a go and see what, if any differnece is being made.

Mark was talking to me about this during the summer, he was very keen to get it up and running, he told me about the problems that were reported to him and his network of friends.

I know the bailiffs should be doing more but until they get the finger out, Mark and his network is the next best thing.

I will definitely be passing on any stories I hear.

I am sure that any credit due is down to the guy involved alone. I would imagine that DCAL have very little input but are quite happy to share in any success and claim any credit on their website. I think this is basically a member of the public doing what they should be doing. Still, fair play to the guy, at least he is prepared to do something.
