Hi tack4

i`ve probably asked you this before but well i`ll ask again just to refresh my memory,,,

lets say i want to take a Pic of say a person ok,,not to close but in general BUT i only want the person to be in focus and not the backround,,i want the backround to be slighty hazy (is that the term ?) you know what i mean,,which means the eye concentrates on the preson/image which i had intended,,how do i do this ?

if you get a chance may you could post a Pic of what im talking about i do recall it`s got something to do with Depth of field is that correct ?
