Hi All
Fished Woodford on Friday afternoon...
Fishing was hard (Hailstones in June!)

Managed a couple of fish on buzzers -but far and away the
best takes I had were to my orange fish pimp-- and not
just the usual swirls - but line running away takes!
Tried a orange blob on the top dropper but no luck.

So headed home to tie up some Humpys with an orange body
instead to the usual green...Which after much meandering leads to my Question... How do I stop the deer hair from spinning when tying the
wing posts!

Please Help

Desperate from Glengormley!

BB,
Know nothing about deer hair either, but know the pimp story well. If you are going to try and fool them, try pink. I had one on a ginked up pink blob.

What I can't fiqure is why if I use a dry fly they won't touch anything bigger than a 16, but will eat pimps all day. That includes coming back over and over again. Is this just a Woodford thing?

Pimp fly pattern anyone?

I saw a young lad at cairn farm have a trout take his yellow indicator and hold on for a good minute or two.Didnt want to let go or maybe it had swallowed it? So its just not woodford.
