Great Adrian

i fished the river a few times last season probably a little later on in the
year but a lot of fish were caught on the occasions i was down on flies,
flying C`s and worm,,,a good river for anyone wishing to get into the
Salmon fishing,,not to bad to wade but bring a wading staff of some sorts
it helps if your planning on using the Fly,,,,,,,,

Regards

Lads this is looking like a bumper year for the silver tourist as there was 8 yes 8 genuine springers caught today on this system. We have undoubtly the best salmon river here on our doorstep and for a few quid theres a good chance of a fish even this early on. I might be tempted a day next week.

Just heard that the biggest fish so far this season was landed late yesterday afternoon it weighted in at 16lb. Robert Logan from Ballyclare had a lovely springer of 10lb from the Grevenue.

Today there was a few fish caught with the sizes ranging from 10-11lb.

River Faughan has produced 3 fish so far this week also.
