A few of us made it to Murloc today for a forum meet. Myself, Firey Brown, Harry lfc, Bo0galoo and a flying, but very welcome, visit from Watty's Rock.

This is an excellent fishery with seriously good facilities. A very comfortable and well equipped Scandanavian style log built lodge. It is quite a small fishery with very clear water, good fishing stands and very good quality fish. Certainly a place worth recommending.

Thw weather was very kind to us with it being dry, pleasantly warm and a gentle south westerly breeze. It was quite busy, as you would expect at a weekend, but there were plenty of fish being caught from all parts of the fishery. Top honours among ourselves went to young Harry lfc with a catch of 10 fish. I was very impressed indeed with Harrys fishing and casting ability, a young man with a lot of natural talent who I believe is going to excell at this sport in the future.

I ended the day with 8 fish up to about 3lb. Caught either on a yellow damsel type nymph or straight lined buzzers. All my fish, and any others that I saw, were in fin perfect condition.

A really great day.

a great days fishing which ended with me netting 2 fish,,i had maybe 5 or 6 good solid pulls but couldn`t keep anything on nevertheless the weather, the craic, the fishing and the company was excellent..

harrylfc out fished us all with an excellent 10 fish to the net and quite a few good pulls to boot,,take nothing for granted lads this young man is a very good angler indeed and at a ripe old age of 15  Shocked  Shocked
