We got a pretty clued up bunch of guys and gals on here so here is my question.

Has anyone heard of a spinner made in France but named after a Swedish salmon river? A guy up at the lake was telling me about them but I have forgotten the bloody name of them.

Think spinners and and think French, first thought is Mepps. Here is their Atlantic Salmon selection, no Swedish rivers though.

Confused

Adrain
Can only recall ever using 3 types of spinner for salmon:

Flying C's
Tobys
and
S bows( unsure of the correct spelling- don't ban me-lol)
this, from recollection was a small-medium spoon type lure -
Copper inside face - Chrome outside.

The only other things used often were Devon minnows!

Adrian,

Any possibility that you are thinking of a SWEDISH spinner named after a Swedish river.
