All the way from America

An American friend has sent me a few plugs, spoons and soft plastic baits for my spinning gear. Knowing that I have recently taken up fly fishing they also included these 'spiders'.

They just have to get a swim over the winter simply for the fun of it.
Cool

Yes, but in all fairness I do not think these are inteneded for trout. Bass and Panfish like bluegills, crappies, etc I would imagine.

I've seen tyings (they do state that the patterns are American) in some of our magazines for similar flies so I'm sure they work for trout as well. Still look weird though. But then again we've got the booby and the blob... Laughing
