days fishingwas speaking to few of the lads at woodford on wednesday and enjoyed the crack what about a forum day out at one of the fisherys or dcal waters on sunday the 4th of may has anyone any suggestions as in were to fish or who would be available on this date just a suggestion

I should be up for that. I might be able to sting you for some sponsor money as I'm running a leg of the Belfast Marathon Relay in aid of the Samaritans the next day.

Beatnik, You might find it easier to run with 2 legs

Pencil me in. Often end up working weekends though. 
As for DCAL, I am only covered for the county Antrim waters.

I'd be up for that David the 4th suits me.  As for a venue, have car, will travel Just pick a spot mate.  Like Syd says, why not try a DCAL water for a wee change. I'll even supply a wee pot of stew or soup.

Yeah id def be up for that no worries.If the weather forecast looks good for it we can do a bbq and make a good day of it. As with Fossil Im only covered for Co.Antrim waters so my shout is for Killylane. If its a fishery we can go to lets go down Davids part of the world this time. Or what about a days sea fishing???

Trouts thats what these wee get togethers are for mate its all just a bit of craic and maybe a few hours fishing too.
Anything we can do to help you along mate on these wee waters then just ask cause Il be wanting your help when I fish the bigger waters mate

thats brillant troutsbane if you could make it up i spoke to the boss at movila today and he said he would do some sort of a deal if we are going to movilla also he has a brick bbq there to that is massive that we can use if everyones happy that movilla suits. hope big jackie the chef can make it up ha ha ha

Certainly sounds good to me lads im up 4 wotever we do.As adrian says its all about a bit of craic. I reckon it will be busy wherever we go syd? but loads of fish in movilla and we sussed it today and we can have a barbie and a few beers if we all can sort the drivin thing out.
Everyone get the suggestions in as its all about getting us all out with arrangements that suit us best?
We need to throw a few quid in tho to get a taxi for big tak4 tho!

was at Movilla today and would recommend it for our next outting if it suits everyone its a cracking we place with lots of character about it and great fishing,,i met Beatnik and his father today and both were hooking fish i will post a few pic`s later in the gallery of some of todays catch...
the fishing wasn`t as productive as yesterday but with a stiff NNW wind blowing all day it made it that little bit harder (but then who ever said it was easy) nevertheless i still managed 3 cracking fish (2 on buzzers tied by our very own Adrian,,,cheers mate) and 1 on a beadhead lure.. the buzzer takes were fantastic with 1 of the fish close to 4lb,,a good day was had by all..........

Hi Syd I just had a wee quick look mate and I see Movilla is 6 acres in size. It looks a well laid out water with little arms etc going off into the lake and the surroundings are picture perfect infact some guys thought it was a golf course it is that well maintained. Should be a nice wee buzzer water.

its a very good emerger water aswell, i had great sucess on black emerging buzzers, bloodworms and size 18-20 f flies. some excellent fish in the lake and always somewhere to fish regardless of the weather conditions and wind direction
