Beautiful fly mate I really like your Dunkelds. I have a challenge for you should you decide to accept it. If you got any salmon doubles try tying it on there or a large hook. The new rules appear to be single hooks next year on most rivers and i think that fly will take salmon.
Again mate a very nice fly indeed

DunkeldCheers Adrian
Salmon fishing is not my field of expertise but i`ll tie a few up if you think they would work,,one thing i do like the sound of and thats single hooks for Salmon next year for no other reason than i`ll not get the f@*king fingers cut of me tying them on trebles LOL doesn`t it do your head in..
couple of we ideas i had in mind mate but i`ll run that by you when i see you so i need a favour,,firstly are they gonna stipulate size of hook also ? and the favour is,,can you source some good single Salmon hooks for me may as well get a few in now just incase cause i`d hate to tie up a pile of trebles and not get to use them
Regards

MAte havent really heard of a size of hook change more that they are maybe gona introduce a single hook fly. I havent really gone mad on salmon flies at the minute coz like you id hate to have a full box of trebles if this law does come in.
Another thing i heard thru the grapevine was that your salmon tags will cost us £7 per tag and if you dont use them you get a full refund. Il keep you all informed as i hear more.
Il try to source some good singles mate and i dont mean females (or do i).

you gotta be Joking right ? £7 per tag that would be just plain crazy,,so in actual fact if that was to be implemented and you went out for a days salmon fishing and happened to hook say 3 fish and wanted to keep them you`ve got to tag them and the tags have cost you £7 each,,i think there would be some stink over that however on reflection its probably designed to stop people taking huge amounts of fish and if they want to kill everything they catch they can,, but its 7 quid a go hmmmmmmmmmmm,,,,,, dont really know what to make of that,,what do you think about it ?
