First attempt

I went last night to watch a guy tie salmon flies so i went today and got the materials i need and gave it a go. Ive never tied a proper salmon fly before and this is my first attempt.

Its the very popular cascade pattern which has out fished all other flies as the last few years

Looks good to me Adrian. At least I think so, know nothing at all about salmon. I did hear someone say once that the art of casting can simply be a pleasure in itself and it can be complety fulfilling to spend all day perfecting it. That is why they invented salmon fishing.
