Here's 2 different Cats Whiskers, I tied them at work today lol.

This fly is one which i fish quite a bit. The tail is standard white marabou with 4 strands of uv crystal flash. The body is glister dubbing in the chartreuse colour then for the head of the fly i use glister tho i cant remember the name of the colour. To get the effect i have i ALWAYS split my thread and dub it this way. I will hopefully post a few pics in the step by step section to show how i do this process. It is superb for bumbles etc and takes away the need for a ody hackle. then i just tied in the usual chain bead eyes.

This fly is tied as a nomad style. I love nomads and i fish them virtually all winter tied in different colours. The bead half way down the shank gives the marabou tail i real wobble and the movement is amazing...trout cant resist them. The body material is Mosaic fritz which i have had in my box for bout 7 years now.

Excellent Adrian,,, i`ve seen you take alot of fish on these flies,, like the Cats Whisker nice variation there,,,is that the pink stuff you showed me in the dubbing box Adrian ?? ice dub or something like that

Harry i dont think it was pink at the time lol tho it looks pink here. Next time your up il show you it mate ok but you must remember to ask me bout it coz my heads full of crap.

The "stuff" youve had in your box for several years now is Keith Frasers ORIGINAL Mosiac Fritz (15mm), The black stuff was and still is lethal in blob form.

I will post a Pic of it this weekend.

Spot on there mate. Keith was at the forefront of mosaic years ago and it is deadly stuff mate. Its a shame the way things went for him coz he was a super guy
