GOLD DABBLER

I read in the Irish Digest about the guy that caught the Ferox on Melvin using a Gold Dabbler! Does any one know the pattern? Is it a golden olive dabbler or is there a gold dabbler???

I have a feeling you are right it could be anything, but for your first time on Erne I hope you catch because the one thing that amazes me with the Erne fish is how they flash silver when they fight! you would think you are playing a rainbow. but a trade secret Wink  if fish are slow about showing them selves put on a yellow bumble or yellow dabbler top dropper seems to bring attention to the rest of the flies behind and keep shallow but by Jesus keep your wits about you.
Give me a shout If I can help.Heading out tomorrow so watch this space hopefully I will have something to report  Rolling Eyes
