its CRUNCH timeHi All
CRUNCHERS,,,, a great we pattern and so easy to tie using Pheasant tails, a rib, pearl mylar for the thorax and mainly a badger hackle at the head,, i`ve had fish on this throughout the season but mainly tied using only the natural Pheasant Tails so i decide to knock up a few using different colours,, here are a few variants
Claret Pheasant tail with gold rib,red holographic thorax and Badger head hackle
Dark Brown Pheasant tail, gold rib, pearl mylar thorax and Badger head hackle
Deep Orange Pheasant tail, gold holographic rib, pearl mylar thorax and
light brown head hackle
Black Pheasant tail, silver rib, pearl mylar thorax, and Badger head hackle
Medium Olive pheasant tail, copper wire rib, pearl mylar thorax, and badger
head hackle
they make a great point fly in the natural colour but with a mixture of colours there`s no
reason why you couldn`t fish them as a team of Two or even Three on various lines throughout the year..
Tie`em and Try`em

Firey,
Fantastic tyings as usual. Those patterns look brilliant, I especially like the claret one.
I love these patterns as they are something that even I can manange to make a half decent stab at. I also tie them with a peacock herl body, in fact one of my Murloc fish took a peacock cruncher.
A really great post, thank you.
