Lead head hares ear

hook: buzzer size 12 rib: gold wire Body and thorax: hares mask Thorax cover: pheasant tail

tie in fine lead wire and give a coat of super glue or varnish

then tie in thread and tie in gold wire for the rib

pull some dubbing from the hares mask

and then dub it onto your thread

then wrap on the body up to the lead

now rib your fly with the wire

get a good bunch of pheasant tail and tie it in

now dub some more hares ear onto the thread

and wrap the dubbing to before the eye

then bring your pheasant tail over and tie in

trim the waste and whip finish and then add some varnish

a very effective fly in all rivers and also works well on still waters
