sad but true m8 Sad

hate to see the macky bashers at work  Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad
as they usually continue with feathers all session and often see piles of dead fish washed up ashore for days afterwards or worse just dumped at their feet to rot when they find their tessco bag too heavy to carry Rolling Eyes  Rolling Eyes

simple rule for macky catch what you need only

and do best to target other species with single lure etc i always remove tripple hook and replace with a single for instances like this and do utmost to relaese without handling or harm

god bless my daughter as we try to practice C&R but one boat trip a few years back when fishing for makeral for bait for every sting of 4 or 5 we brought in she rex hunted 2 or 3 and put em back until we explained the reason not too. Embarassed

Hmmmm i never knew that a fish would die due to handling alone,,it was very interesting reading indeed,,obviously we more experienced anglers do all we can to handle Trout and return them safely with as much care as possible..is there any type of Bailiffing around the shores when anglers fish for Mackeral ??? maybe a lot of the anglers are unaware of this as its something i certainly didnt know......

Regards
