Moorbrooke LodgeI went up to Moorbrook today for a couple of hours at lunch time ,i fished the lake furthest to the left to start with ,i landed 9 trout best around 4lb on a combination of buzzers and Dbs ,i lost a lot of trout by playing them hard which i didn't mind as i was catch and release anyway and i wanted to see what my new rod was capable of .I moved up to the top lake next to the house and had another 3 trout including a brownie of about 3lb again on the buzzers and Dbs .I enjoyed getting back into the small water fishing as it's a while since i visited one and will be doing it again soon .
