Moorebrooke Sat 12 aprilWent to Moorebrooke today again to see if the other day was a flook.
Set up a floater with a couple of Diawl Bachs that I tied up for today as this seemed to be the fly that took a load of fish on Thursday. I fished for 2 hours today and ended up with 9 fish landed including anothe perch which I tried to life but got a spike in my finger for my efforts. There was a great rise of fish on and my friend Mark blanked on small dry flies showing that jst because there are fish moving in these stillwaters they arent as daft as we might think.
Here is the Diawl Bach I tied up. I have it done here on a double altho the 1 I caught on today was on a single hook.
