North WoodburnHad a wee chuck for an hour on the way home today. Managed to tempt two nice rainbows in between showers. (both returned) They fell to a black and orange lure, a pattern from old FB, on an intermediate line fished with a slow figure of eight retrieve. The weather turned even more nasty than it was so it was off home at about 2-30 for a cup of tea and put the feet up.

Good job WR. Probably still a bit early for the browns. Certainly still cold, today was freezing.

Xcelant mate the weather turned crap today didnt it I got a freezing for no fish but il not be beaten by the scaley wee feckers lol

Aye mate it did but I was well prepared today, with me thermal LJ's and tee shirt, then two layers on top of that.  Was walking like the tin man from the wizzard of oz, but I was warm and dry!
