Photographs on PhotobucketHi tak4
firstly let me say "excellent photography tips" and a topic for
us to read and enjoy
now here`s my question regarding Photos and Photobucket
as im still learning about photos and how to upload them to
photobucket,,while i`ve managed to get the general knack
now of how upload the photos and display them on the site
i couldn`t help but noticed that i`ve got somewhere in the
region of 115 images,,a mixtue of flies,family,friends,step
by steps etc etc on the photobucket site,, SO can i split them
into proper catagories/folders etc instead of just having all
these images in one place so that i can simply go to a particular
folder for my Family and then the next for my flies etc etc
if so how do i do that ??
Regards

ok firey m8 answer is yes
top left of your photobucket page has your albums
simply create a new album with a name say family
and then look through your photos you have stored in photobucket each one has a move above it click it and it will ask you if you want to move to the album click yes and hey presto

oops
a word of warning tho' when you move a image to a new file it will then have a different link
the original place you palced the pic on a forum post will unfortunately disappear
so if you want to maintain image in a post you will need to edit it and replace image link

I done that with avatars as well. Put all your avatars into an avavtar file and don't move them. You only have to move them somewhere else once, then forget about them. A file just for forum posts is also good. I am still working this out as I go along as well.
