pre-made loops in fly linesdoes anyone else have problems with the pre-made loops in fly lines. i find they either have like a hinge effect or they slap the water really badly. Just got a midge tip line and it smacks the water hard every time i cast, was contimplating replaceing the loop with a braided loop or nail note

bought 3 lines recently one for salmon other 2 for trout fishing they all had pre-made loops on them i cut all of them off & put a braided loop on them. Now there more to my liking.

I would also recommend cutting off the preformed loop and replacing it with braided loops, as your leader will gradually cut through the preformed loop and you don't want to lose that fish of a life-time
