Hi Mate

given that im going to be working nights it would have to be a weekend
lets say a Saturday morning crossing but im more than willing to bring the car,,
if its at all possible i could maybe make it a Friday morning  but i`ll need to play it by ear for now,,,,,,,

im open to suggestions ?????

Tack,
Anywhere close to you with the chance of catching a grayling. We don't have them over here and that would make a trip very special.

Just a thought.

grayling hmm not sure will ask around

i know they have a clyde population but thats 100 miles north

my plan would be a group day at possibly Pinbraid or Glenquicken (both worth a google)

or could apporach local secy of angling assoc to see if we could get a discounted trip to a local reservoir

any ideas of a date yet guys?

Sounds good Andy. You are easy to get to from Larne or Belfast.  What about sometime in the Autumn after everyone has had their summer holidays. September perhaps.
