tack4 and weetack4 head out for a few hours practice

we have our first comp on our club water this sunday after stocking took place last saturday(resevoir closed for a week for fish to settle)

SO............

decided to take weetack4 off for a spot of practice on his casting and see how well he can play his fish (if any)

this is the water he has learned his craft on

approx 2- 2.5 acres

had spooled up the greenheart 7wf floating line given to me by stevie munn top man made kyles casting much better on his 6wt rod

so i'll let him take over with report
weetack4

as dad was saying that was like my home from home of fly fishing, where it all began. it was 1:05pm and the conditions was pefect and there was an amazing rise going on.

we first had dinner wich was two sqaure sausages each on a roll  Very Happy  which very deliecous then tackle up time

dad set me up first and within a mintue i was hooked on a fish as long as my middle finger
I caught that cheeky begger twice Laughing
and it was a brownie  Very Happy  Very Happy
then dad was set up but i was on my second fish  but no photo
about 3 minutes later dad caught about 1/2 pound rainbow so i said It was a showdown of who gets the most fish! Razz

then i caught the best fish of the day and the best scrap ever  Wink

check my face as it stripped line

me landing the fish with one arm and no help from dad at all

bringing my 'precious' in to camera view

in the end the score was kyle-7 dad-6 biggest fish-kyle smallest fish-kyle most fun- draw Smile  Smile

so roll on sunday "im ready" as spongebob would say Wink
