TildargWas up this evening for an hour or so, good rise on when i got there at 7.30pm I had 1 fish to boat and lost 1. Was fishing from bank initially with a black ant on, rose a couple of fish but just couldnt get them to take the fly. Switched on to a hares ear when the rise slacked off, no luck so tried diawl bach and gold head hares ear flash, no luck. Put a flexifloss bloodworm on fished it nearly static then got huge whack and hooked a nice 2lb rainbow. hooked another one about 5 minutes later, gave him too much slack and lost him but that is how it goes.
couple of other guys where catching but there was a tiny apple green midge on the water and fish were banging them

was up fishing 2nite, fish going nuts for black ants at the bank and at far bank in the boat they wer taking black hoppers. also wen it got dark had a few on a green ribbed diawl bach
