Thankyou for looking at our forum. This forum was set up in late 2007 and as 2008 is upon us we hope to go from strength to strength.

I would like to thank all our members for the work that has been put into making this site possible and as the year progresses I hope that we grow and grow as a community.

The main aim of AnglingIreland is to promote all aspects of our sport here in Ireland where we have undoubtly some of the best water in Europe (if not the world) and to let others into our knowledge of these waters. As fishing grows in popularity we will hopefully see more and more anglers visiting our shores and I would hope that we can be of assistance to them whether it be in particular fly patterns, where to buy permits, good pubs restaurants to visit while on the Emerald Isle, B+B accommodation etc etc.

Finally this site is for its members. There are no ego's here just people wishing to share in their interest of this fascinating sport. I trust you will join in and have a laugh with us and share your experiences both good and bad.
